Work Philosophy

Jasmin is passionate about overcoming the stigma related to sex. She is strongly invested in normalizing talking about sex as she champions the idea that sex is normal, healthy, and an integral part of human development. Jasmin strives to provide a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space for clients to talk about and resolve sexual challenges in their lives. Jasmin’s work is influenced by a person-in-environment approach which explores the impact of a person’s environment on their sexual, mental, and emotional health along with a focus on self-acceptance, self-love, authenticity, and promoting healthy sexuality.

She uses talk therapy to explore a client’s intimate thoughts and behavior patterns and utilizes collaborative, educational, and direct approaches to help clients take steps towards developing their healthy sexual selves. Jasmin utilizes a variety of approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive processing therapy.
