Zoe Larkey

Zoe Larkey is a clinical intern at CSWC who provides affordable sex therapy services through our STAAR Initiative. Zoe is currently accruing clinical hours and working toward her Master’s of Social Work at UNC Chapel Hill. Her involvement in the STAAR Initiative allows her to gain valuable clinical experience at CSWC, while providing high-quality, affordable sex therapy services to clients who may face financial barriers.
Prior to joining CSWC, Zoe obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Social Justice from The George Washington University in D.C.. During her time there, she led a chapter of It’s On Us, a nationwide campus sexual violence prevention organization, where she used peer education to teach college students about consent and healthy sexuality. She also has experience working in rape crisis centers, Title IX departments, and legislative advocacy groups.
Zoe’s work in the field of sexual violence prevention and gender justice has ignited a passion for exploring the intersection of mental health and social justice. She is committed to advancing social justice through anti-oppressive social work practice, which aligns with the values at CSWC. Zoe has experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals in various capacities and is excited to provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to process and grow.
In her free time, Zoe enjoys spending time with loved ones, listening to music (especially Fleetwood Mac and Noah Kahan) and engaging in creative hobbies like watercolor painting, scrapbooking, and writing poetry!
