Work Philosophy

Entering therapy can be an overwhelming and humbling experience; however, with your motivation and my dedication to building a strong therapeutic alliance, positive movement is possible. Whether your goal is to focus on challenges that you are currently facing or issues from the past, our work will focus on whatever is most central for you.

Chenita operates from a strengths-based perspective, utilizing a person-centered approach to therapy.

This allows space to explore the impact of stress on the sexual, mental, and emotional selves of the client while building upon the natural strengths. Her goal is to provide a compassionate, grounding space for adults, couples, and families that will emphasize genuineness, self-acceptance, forgiveness, and the embracing of a healthy sexuality.
