Lupe Zambrano Muñoz

Clinical Intern
(she/they)

Guadalupe (Lupe) Zambrano Muñoz is a clinical intern at CSWC who provides accessible sex therapy services through our STAAR Initiative. Lupe is currently working toward her Master’s of Social Work through the Interpersonal Practice Pathway at the University of Michigan. Her involvement in the STAAR Initiative allows her to provide high-quality, affordable sex therapy services to clients who may face financial barriers, while also gaining valuable clinical experience.

Prior to joining CSWC, Lupe attended UNC Charlotte and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She has experience working with families and individuals in case management services and as a sex educator across multiple settings and populations. She is especially passionate about reproductive justice and volunteers with Jane’s Due Process in her free time.

Lupe’s work as a sex educator provided valuable insight into what it means to provide queer-inclusive services, use affirming language, and navigate the barriers that LGBTQ+ folks face. She is excited to apply this knowledge through sex therapy services at CSWC and create a safe space for all of her clients.

In her free time, Lupe enjoys crocheting, gardening, spending time in nature, playing with her two dogs, and spending time with her loved ones. She also loves playing Animal Crossing and Fortnite, and catching up on reality TV like Love is Blind, The Ultimatum, and Love Island!
