Sarah Kornberg

Clinical Intern
(she/her)

Sarah Kornberg is one of the clinical interns at CSWC who offers accessible and high quality sex therapy services through our STAAR Initiative.  Sarah is working toward her Master’s of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill, and is gaining valuable clinical experience at CSWC while providing services to clients who may have difficulty accessing sex therapy services due to financial barriers.

Prior to joining CSWC, Sarah earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania. She also has experience working as a Clinic Coordinator at a practice focused on empowering and supporting the neurodivergent community.

Sarah is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist that is committed to creating an inclusive environment for queer folx and other marginalized communities. She is dedicated to creating an anti-oppressive space for all clients to feel safe to exist as their true selves.

Outside of work, you can find Sarah spending quality time with her fiance and dog, going on adventurous hikes at Eno park or watching her favorite comfort shows (like New Girl for the 100th time). She is also trying to pick up knitting as a low-stress hobby!
